What happens in Vegas DOESN'T Stay in Vegas!

June 12, 2017

I recently returned from attending the world's largest jewelry trade show held in Las Vegas. Thousands of the very best jewelry manufacturers/suppliers and artisans come together for this show and to say I was like a kid in a candy store is the understatement of the decade. I was in heaven!!!

There were over 2,000 booths to visit and I hit many of them. I had a fabulous time visiting with my favorite suppliers from Israel and made friends with manufacturers and artisans from India, Italy, Indonesia, Spain and Mexico, to name a few. Companies that used to supply Silpada were at first sad to hear that I was "let go" when the company closed last year but thrilled to hear I started SilverQuest Designs and eager to help me with company presidents, CEO's and designers handing me their business cards to contact them direct and hugging me like we'd been friends for years. Being "let go" has turned into a blessing as I am loving what I'm doing...discovering artisans with unique designs and sharing them with you!

Pieces from Mexico, uniquely designed with an edgy twist like these pendants...

Or Roman Glass from Israel that is not only gorgeous iridescent artwork to wear, but there's a story rich in history behind these pieces as they are made using ancient glass from vessels discovered in archaeological excavation sites in Israel that date back over 2,000 years...

Or two-tone Bali bracelets featuring Sterling Silver and 18k Gold...

Or tri-tone (Sterling Silver, Copper, Brass) spinner rings from India. The kids can have their fidgit spinners, we can have our spinner rings...

And for those who appreciate Sterling Silver at it's very finest, it doesn't get much better than this spectacular watch...

All of these pieces, and much more, came home with me from Vegas and are now on the SilverQuest Designs website. So What Happens in Vegas DOESN'T Stay in Vegas, at least not when it comes to jewelry!
